Haiz woke up again at 8 am at least that was the plan. Hits the snooze button few time..argh it almost 8.30am..jump out of bed then head to shower and brush my teeth. Waited for dad to get ready then headed out for breakfast in Brickfields. Ate chapati for breakfast with teh c kosong. Hmm tell u scene in the restoran where malaysian (Indian) rears its ugly head.

Me: Waiting in line to wash my hands
F**king Indian : Just cut in front of me..
Me: WTF no manner at all
F**king Indian : Pretend he didnt see me

Countdown to exam

Woke up around 8.30 am today to get ready for class at 10 am. Set the alarm to wake up at 8 am but alas press the snooze button coutless time. Reach college around 9.30 am there is not many ppl around. Started to wonder whether got class or not. Hmm waited till 10 am then the lecturer turn up. But alas there only a handful turn up for class to as it is optional or extra class. The class is akin to a tutorial class due to the number of ppl turn up. When back home around 2 pm then continue to study for exam. It is stressing me out. T.T Alvin u can do it believe in urself. That it going to sleep d late d. It is 1.08 am tomorrow have class.

Tiring day

Hmm woke up at 6.20 today to fetch my mum to her exam centre. Make my self a cup of nescafe to keep myself awake. Waited for mum to get ready and left the house around 6.50. She was busy looking for her files. It took me around 15 Mins to reach the exam centre using the NPE highway. Drop her off then head home for some snooze. Woke up again around 9.45 to fetch my sis to seremban to babysit my cousin as my aunt was away on holiday for 4 days. Reach around 10.35 and spend around 15 mins in the house then head back again to KL. Then I have continue to read the book to prepare for my exam :( after few hours of reading I decided to wash the toilet as it getting quite dirty already. Spend around 15 mins washing. Hmm it was exhausting:( then did some laundry and have a short nap. After that off to shower. Then waited for dad to come back to have dinner. Had claypot chicken rice for dinner.yummy.lolz Then it off to study again till I'm online to chat with Natalie and facebooking.

Yesterday was a fun filled day. Woke up around 9am then went for breakfast with my parents( my sister still sleeping)lol.After breakfast head back home with some food for sis..Laze around for awhile till its time to take bath and go out with natalie(darling) that aroung 11 am. Reach her college around 11.30am and waited for her class to eand at 12pm...while waiting notice there are lots of driver waiting to pick up the rich kids..lol.. finally she came out around 12.05pm..I then drove the car to pick her and her friends(wanxin and youwen) up back to her wanxin place to puts their stuff first..After that i had to make another round to pick another two of her friends(alan and sin liang) which live nearby. Finally all on board we headed back to natalie's place to change car coz we can't fit into my car..sigh...But it turn out to be good option coz we get to sit toyota fortuner and travel in style and comfort(not so cramp)..After changing the car its around 1pm d then headed to bukit tinggi klang to have bak kut teh (dry type)at pei shan father's shop.The bill came up to about rm 63 for six of us..after lunch we decided to head to midvalley and gardens to do some windows shopping..didn't manage to get anything although her friends did manage to get some tee and books from mph.. while there me and nat decided after some walking around to head to sushi king to have some sushi for tea break or pre dinner snack..lol..at sushi king we order our usual order..kamikama, ebiko, cukakuragi, california roll and etc..after the snack we meet with her friends again at centre court where they having some kind of promtion(bioterm or some sort) there lin yu chong was there singing some of his song..whle walking there we manage to bum into james and his gf joanne..i guess midvalley is the place to be..lol..after somemore walking around in midvalley with her friends we decide its time to leave for dinner at klang for steamboat..we left midvalley around 7pm and reach bukit tinggi klang around 7.30pm..while there we bum into chinn yi who was also having dinner with her friends at the same shop wat a coincident..i guess..lol..after the dinner i drove chinn yi back to her place at ambang botanic and send the rest back to the ktm station in klang..some of her friends insisted they wanted to try the ktm as some them havent taken before..finally is around 10 soemething already we headed to tai thong for birthday celebation as it was her uncle birthday..we just manage to arrive there in time to cut the cake and sing the song..we hang around around until 10.50pm then we decided it is time to leave and go back to her home to get my car and go home..i reach home around 11.30pm and dad decided he need to have somethings to eat and we decided to head to the mamak to have a drink and some roti while watching MU game on tv...after mamak reached home around 12.15 am when and take a shower and talk to nat for awhile then head to bed..wow wat a activity pack day.however it was an enjoyable outing nontheless.

Friends is a big word with lots or meaning attached to it...there many categories of friends that i have observed throughout my life...the best categories of friends is bestie i.e. everthing you can share with the regardless of the sensitivity of the subject matter and they wont leak or squeal to other..p/s this apply to those whose have bf or gf...they fall into this category...next comes the 'close' friends.... this is the type of friends u go out with or go on holiday but u dont share all ur secrets with them but still very close...then come friends....this are the type of friends what we call u noe me i noe u type of friends where ocassionally go out for yumcha or if there are some kind of events...then lastly is fair weather friends which i depise or hate..this is where they want to know u for their benefits i.e. sucks all the things they need from u then leave u high and dry...luckily for me most of my friends fall into the earlier categories....wat a relief...

Well its seem to be trend nowadays...wats with the the word emo? Short form for emotion? Well its seem to be the in thing to use the word emo...Well the other day when we went out for yumcha...They are like saying dont be so emo? My question now is emo a good thing or not? In my opinion a person without 'emo' is a cold hearted person...well the same goes for a person with too much 'emo' is like a person going through pms...you dont wan a person to break out or cry at the slightest joke or tease...lol. with that aside am I considered an emo person or who is? Well some always say after every thunderstorm there will be a rainbow after that... this is god promise to us...in every sense it seem to apply really apply to us..well for me at least...in july 2008 something wonderful happen to me....I think god must have heard my prayer and send me this lovely angel to accompany me and love me so much...she has been the one to hear about my problem, concern about me and love me so much...I never in my life I feel so happy and contended about my life...she has been there where I got my LLb result and the passing of my grandfather....I could say she is the pilliar of my strength...she is one of the most wonderful things that happen to me that year...I hope she know I treasure her very much....thanks nat@darl

It has been a awhile

Well it has been a while since I last posted a blog. It has been a sad ending of 2008 for me at least.Let me tell you a story why I hate December when it suppose to be a jolly month with Christmas and all... but for me the last three years it has been a sad memory for me...in the year 2006 my beloved grandmother passed away because of cancer...she has only has only been diagnose in september...and passed away on december 3 that year...it feel like the world has crashed down on me coz she is the one who took care of me when I was small and she is the one who loved me the most.It feel so unfair to me..till today whenever I think of her I will feel sad.. mind u it was the first death in the family.After 2006 I thought everything would be better...but how wrong was I...in december 2007 my grandfather on my mother side fall sick and died on the 1 of january...well another mourning session..why? i asked... izzit time?...then I thought to my self I must treasure the other grandparents that I have left... then in december 2008 the unthinkable happen again my grandfather passed away unexpectedly...it was suppose to be one of those routine admission that he has gone through throughout the year... but alas he passed away on december 16 2008...well now you know that why I hate december... hopefully it wouldn't be another sad december for me....I wish for a happier 2009...please pray for me

Bored - Lonely?

'Bored'....it seem to be catch phase nowaday. Well one routinely does a thing and continue it for days to come they will become bored.. well other regards 'bored' as literally got nothing to do...Now the question is why there is boredom in the first place?...could it be that we human being are a social creature where we tend to seek out another for company to overcome this boredom...most probably this is the main cause of boredom. Maybe this is the reason why God created 'Eve' for 'Adam' to overcome his boredom(loneliness) and to populate the world with human...Another thing is loneliness a side effect of boredom?....well i personally think that both a inter related...as one will feel bored if they are lonely and vice versa...so lets us make friends and try to overcome this...

Nowadays everyone seems to be bugged down by their emotions..well the happy ones will feel like they are on to top of the world...but for every happy one out there will the sad ones which they feel the world is not fair to them..maybe this is what the called the ying-yang. For me personally I hope that this vicious cycle will end and for all the person I care for will be happy and not to be bugged down by this....I sincerely hope they could overcome this...to them now they might question why this has to happen to them but I hope they see this as a test of will & challenge and will raise up to the challenge and overcome this...

Shopping mania

I just don't understand the mayhem of shopping...people crowded eveywhere in shopping complexes trying to outdo each other to get the best deals. Evidences of this can be seen at the cashier where the line would be snaking and waiting forever to pay for the item as for the fitting room well you will be waiting like forever just to try on the clothes which only takes a few minutes...well the might be justification for this some might called it "Retail theraphy" but on the hindsight we consumer are blinded by the the word "SALES" that get us in trouble at the end of the month when the credit card bill comes. As we are caught in the moment or urges to buy we did not notice we did not need the item. So wake up consumer remember when you go shopping always remember to bring a 'to buy list' to minimise the unwanted item we tend to buy.

It seem that nowaday that money finishes in a flash! Then it hit me it is the onset of inflation setting in. Gov don't tell tell us that we are not facing and inflation. I could see that the price for economic rice being raise from RM4.50 to RM7 even today when I bought the cooking gas it use to cost Rm 21 now it is RM22. Can we dismiss the fact that inflation is here? Probably not! Hence Gov stop denying and take a proactive role in tackling inflation! Raising the fuel price is not the way but only add woes to the citizen. How could we say we cannot use Petronas money we are the citizen of Malaysia we are entitled to it. Besides we are not net importer of petroleum like Indonesia but their petrol price is still lower! So what happen?

Whatever amount it is, you can bet it is COLLOSSAL! In the Time Asia magazine issue on March 15 2004, a South East Asian economist at Morgan Stanley in Singapore, Daniel Lian, figures "that the country may have lost as much as U$$100 billion (RM320 billion) since the early 1980s to corruption." Mind you, this is only corruption and does not include wastages and mismanagement which would increase the amount! If the above (which could have been money saved) is added to the nation's coffers; together with Petronas' profits; palm oil profits; and profits from rubber, tin, agriculture produce, aquaculture produce, electronic and hardware exports etc., for the past 5 decades, we can all agree on one thing - our country would be wealthier than Venezuela who has little resources except for oil. The petrol in Venezuela is RM0.16 per litre

The article below is a comment made by a Malaysia-Today reader named ez24get as a response to my article "Despite knowing, BN did nothing except remove oil subsidy" which was published by Malaysia-Today. I believe the summary is concise and easy to understand. Enjoy. Ez24get writes: Looking at the list below, it looks like the BN government is more determined to help themselves rather than the citizens. And this list below is hardly exhaustive as these are the ones uncovered so far – the tip of the ice-berg, if you will! What lies beneath could be much larger :-
1. The Bank Bumiputra twin scandals in the early 1980s saw US$1 billion (RM3.2 billion in 2008 ringgit) wasted;
2. The Maminco attempt to corner the world tin market in the 1980s is believed to have cost some US$500 million (RM1.6 billion);
3. Betting in foreign exchange futures cost Bank Negara Malaysia RM30 billion in the 1990s;
4. Perwaja Steel resulted in losses of US$800 million (RM2.56 billion). (Eric Chia was charged with corruption for allegedly steering US$20 million (RM64 million) to a Hong Kong-based company.);
5. Use of RM10 billion public funds in the Valuecap Sdn. Bhd. operation to shore up the stock market;
6. Banking scandal of RM700 million losses in Bank Islam;
7. The sale of M.V. Agusta by Proton for one Euro making a loss of €75.99 million (RM 348 million);
8. Wang Ehsan from oil royalty in Terengganu amounting to RM7.4 billion from 2004 – 2007;
9. For the past 10 years since the Philharmonic Orchestra was established, this orchestra has swallowed a total of RM500 million;
10. In Advisors Fees, Mahathir was paid RM180,000; Shahrizat Abdul Jalil (Women and Social Development Affairs) RM404,726; and Abdul Hamid Othman (Religious Affairs) RM549,675 per annum;
11. The government has spent a total of RM3.2 billion in teaching Maths and Science in English over the past five years. Out of the amount, the government paid a whopping RM2.21 billion for the purchase of information and computer technology (ICT) equipment of which the breakdown of costs is unknown;
12. The commission paid for the purchase of jets and submarines to two private companies, Perimeker Sdn Bhd and IMT Defence Sdn Bhd amounted to RM910 million;
13. RM300 million to compensate Gerbang Perdana for the RM1.1 billion "Crooked Scenic Half-Bridge";
14. RM1.3 billion has been wasted building the white elephant Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facilities on cancellation of the Malaysia-Singapore scenic bridge;
15. RM100 million spent on the Parliament building for renovations and to patch up leaks;
16. National Astronaut Programme - RM 40 million;
17. National Service Training Programme - yearly an estimate of RM 500 million;
18. Eye on Malaysia - RM30 million and another RM5.7 million of free tickets;
19. RM4.63 billion 'soft-loan' to PKFZ;
20. RM2.4 million on indelible ink;
21. Samy announced in September 2006 that the government paid compensation amounting to RM38.5 billion to 20 highway companies. A RM380 million windfall for 9 toll concessionaires earned solely from the toll hikes in 2008 alone;
22. RM32 million timber export kickbacks involving companies connected to the Sarawak Chief Minister and his family; Bailouts –
23. Two bailouts of Malaysia Airline System at RM7.9 billion. At a time when MAS incurred losses every year, RM1.55 million was used to buy three paintings to decorate its chairman's (Munir) office;
24. Putra transport system bailout which cost RM4.486 billion;
25. STAR – LRT bailout costing RM3.256 billion;
26. National Sewerage System bailout costing RM192.54 million;
27. Seremban – Port Dickson Highway bailout costing RM142 million;
28. Kuching Prison bailout costing RM135 million;
29. Kajian Makanan dan Gunaan Orang Islam bailout costing RM8.3 million;
30. Le Tour de Langkawi bailout costing RM3.5 Million ;
31. Wholesale distribution of tens of millions of shares in Bursa Malaysia under the guise of NEP to cronies, children and relatives of BN leaders and Ministers worth billions of ringgits;
32. APs scandal that has been going on year-after-year going back for more than three decades, involving a mind-boggling sum of tens of billions of ringgit;
33. Alienation of tens of thousands of hectares of commercial land and forestry concessions to children and relatives of BN leaders and Ministers worth tens of billions of ringgit;
34. Travel around Malaysia and see for yourself how many white elephants like majestic arches, roads paved with fanciful bricks, designer lamp posts, clock towers, Municipal Council buildings that look more like Istanas, extravagant places of worship, refurbishment of residences of VIPs, abandoned or under-utilized government sports complexes and buildings, etc! Combined they could easily amount to hundreds of billions of ringgit!
35. Since 1997, Petronas has handed out a staggering RM30 billion in natural gas subsidies to IPPs who were making huge profits. In addition, there was much wastage and forward trading of Petronas oil in the 1990s based on the low price of oil then. Today i enter into the world of streamyx after many pestering by my friends (you know who you are). The process of setting up the line was less than 15 mins or so. What a diffence between the dial up and streamyx can do to your life. Now i don't have to wait for it to load and i can get instantly. Although it is not as fast as develop country but it a start i quess. Gov should push for free internet service if they want to be on par with the developed nation like Singapore or the US. Paying about Rm 100 or so for 1mbp is not the way. Gov where are u?

Chaos at Post Office

After the anouncement by Pak Lah of the rebate of RM625(compensation) there is a mad rush to post office to collect the money. I feel it is a waste of time and money having to wait at the post office to collect the rebate. The Gov should have think more throughly before implementing the cash rebate. Queing up in the post office for at least two hour is not the way. The Gov should consider abolishing the road tax or toll for the matter to compensate us. Furthermore what is the use of giving RM 625 for vehicle below 2000cc when it not enough to really compensate us. The Gov should look at Thailand for example eventhough the petrol price is higher than us ( note not oil producing country) there is no toll. I was at the post office today to collect my rebate what chaos it was at the post office. I have been told by the people they have been there before they open and they are still waiting for the rebate. I was lucky to get my rebate earlier as people who took the queue number earlier had decided to leave after waiting for eternity pass me their queue number. Even with that I also have to wait 2 hours for my turn. What an ill thought up system of rebate. Do You agree ? Please leave a comment. Thank you
